humans can deny reality and facts and truths and anything else. stupid machines learn by following associations to their own peril.
humans are perfectly happy to live in their black boxes, with one of their favorite coping mechanisms — denial — leading straight to one of their favorite neuroses — cognitive dissonance — which feeds a feedback loop leading to all sorts of irrational and chaotic behavior. sometimes — once in a billion or trillion perhaps — that chaos leads to unpredictable outcomes of the systemically positive type. hence, human progress. machines will never achieve this because they lack a sense of self preservation pitted against an innate evolutionary mechanism for self-annihilation. contradictions upon contradictions! woe to the machines. woe to artificial stupidity.
